No cover so everything can fall in, several dead flies took a swim, is not "mess free" great idea but doesn't work, also the rocks are not the rocks on the picture so I put different rocks in.The rocks I got were super tiny completely white. Guess I'm buying a different tank.

putting new water in it to "clean" it does absolutely nothing. the tank is still dirty and has to be cleaned at least 1ce a week. i figured id still have to clean it out but there is no point in having this tank if i can do what it tells me i am supposed to be able to do for cleaning it.
