Scotts® EZ Seed® Patch & Repair Sun and Shade is a revolutionary seeding mix that promotes seeding success! This mix has been specifically prepared to help grass grow anywhere including in full sun, dense shade, on slopes, and even in high traffic areas.

Its growing success comes from the unique combination of Scotts® best high performance seed, premium continuous release lawn food to feed seedlings and jumpstart growth, and super-absorbent growing material.

The mulch material absorbs 6x its weight in water, and expands up to 4x when wet to surround the seeds in a moist, protective layer.

Scotts® EZ Seed® also has a tackifier to reduce seed wash-away on sloped areas of your lawn! Spring and early summer are the best times to plant EZ Seed® because the seed germinates best when daytime temperatures are between 60°F and 80° F.

For seed success, after applying provide the area with a deep and thorough watering.

Water again when the color of the area becomes light brown.
