While this roller does offer some assistance in loading a canoe/kayak on the roof, it would be nice if it were say 6" wider. Also, the suction cups are hard to operate at first. Overall, once you get use to the special nuances, it does offer some assistance.

I am 5'2" and need all the help I can get to load my 13.5' kayak onto the roof of my car. This definitely helps. Your window need to be very clean and dry for this roller rack to stick.
