I am sure glad I tried this before taking my grandkids fishing. The reel wouldn't release line or reel line in. I am very disappointed in Shakespeare. The previous reviewer was lucky to get a good one.

Bought this as a gift for Grandson he has had a ball dry casting, then going to lake and catching fish, made his day and wants to fish all the time, thanx for a great rod/reel combo
