I saw a review that said this was unstable, that is an absolute understatement. I got seasick in my driveway after I installed it. If this doesn't break and send me overboard, I'll be surprised. Too much play in the pedestal it is not safe! I am returning all three I purchased.

It was as described. It was a little wobbly, so we ended up buying another plate that has a white plastic piece for the extension to fit in. It was less wobbly and still cheaper than anything else.
