I have tried off brand blades which failed misereably, the Cricut brand worked the best and lasted longer than any other brands.

These are so easy to swap out. I like that the back of the trimmer can hold additional blades. These blades stay sharp for a long time if you cut paper only. When they get dull I use them to cut/ score chipboard so you get an extra use out of them!

This is absolutely amazing. I use it for vinyl and card stock and it is just so much better than scissors. Also, a lot of people don't realize there is a pull out roller underneath!

This trimmer looks a bit flimsy, but it it the most simple and accurate cutting tool in the line. As it can also be used as a scoring device I bought a second one and now have 2 dedicated devices
