If you like the colors and get tired of tying and untying shoes every time you have to take them on or off little feet, these are great. While there are laces, done up right, they get tucked under and the velcro is more than enough to keep the shoes on. Great fit on his wide feet!

I didn't give this 5 stars, because the shoe size runs a bit smaller than what you would buy in store. I got a size 8 toddler, and it barely fits him. Probably a 7 instead. Very nice shoe though; strings runs a little smaller too so tying the shoes is a little difficult with a wiggly toddler. But...
