Nolan has written a fair number of accounts of individual battles of the Vietnam War and this might be the best one yet. I'm particularly impressed with how he doesn't shy away from dealing with the controversial command issues that impacted the conduct of this action.

I read this book while stationed in Iraq. It is a great, first hand account of the last major battle of the Vietnam war for the U.S. The accounts of the men who were there and the ability of the author to put everything together has really made this a good read.
