This is the best hot-n-sour soup on the market. All other powdered versions are too sweet …this is the only brand that tastes like true authentic Chinese hot and sour soup.

This is my go- to soup base for asian- inspired soup, which I make often. To reduce sodium, I make this with veggies - bok choy, carrot, celery, mushroom, etc, but use equal volume of plain water or salt free broth.

Admittedly, this is just a little bit of powder in a bag with a book of ingredients, so it's not mom's homemade hot and sour soup - but it tastes like it! Be sure to mix the soup into COLD water and then boil. Don't forget to stir in an egg at the end. Enjoy.

Better hot and sour soup than I can get at any restaurant. I like to add bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, bean curd, and sometimes shredded chicken to the recipe to make it heartier. I also use chicken broth instead of water. I will also put it over ramen or soba noodles, and it is awesome!!
