Great price for gumbo roux if you live 30 miles from the Canada border in north NY and haven't seen roux in a store since you drove through Alabama in 2019! Some leaked oil out of jar, but I dump it off anyway.

Old enough to remember the days prior to "ready to use" Roux, when you made your own, I assure you dat Kary Roux is the best pre prepared you can buy. Roux is the DNA of your Gumbo or Étouffée. If its made in Evangeline Parish it is certified Cajun.
