Small whole peeled flavorless potatoes in a LOT of water. Worked fine as fried with seasonings after slicing. Very little actual food in the can-- mostly water. BUY fresh potatoes for real value- they cook quick.

I didn't expect canned potatoes to taste really good, but these have good flavor and are already cooked, so they're ready to eat right out of the can. One con: I just wish they came in much bigger cans!

These potatoes are so handy to have in the pantry. Yesterday I had a yen for potato salad. I put these potatoes in a pan with salted water and let them come to a good boil. Then proceeded as if they were fresh potatoes, made the potato salad and it turned out great.
