I appreciate that Walmart has so many low-salt items, both Great Value brand and other brands. With spouse having to follow a special diet, it is great to be able to get the products I need where I usually do my grocery shopping and not having to go to a specialty store.

I used the Kidney Beans in some chili I was making and the texture and flavor is as expected. I like the no salt added option so I am in control of the amount of salt that is in my food.

I modified my recipe to add the already cooked beans closer to the end. I poured off the liquid in the can.... it was gel like and I didn't want it. No salt added meant I could make a healthier dish.
