City water can be an issue when watering indoor plants. So I use galvanized watering cans. Fill them with tap water and allow the city/tap water to sit for at least 24 hrs. The metals and air outside tend to remove additives in municipal water.

This can will stand up to a 50 pound boxer pup.Yes, in no time flat she will chew thru a plastic can and make it unusable! The can was larger than most and it is well balanced with both handles. Appears to be durable but only time will tell. Ours was a bargain compared to other prices on the web...
