I hated northern navy beans when I was young. I bought these beans because I am trying to limit processed foods. Not only are they inexpensive, they are delicious and filling. I cooked them with a smoked cajun meat and cornbread. Yum

I added dry chili's, bay leaf and spices and soaked overnight. Easy bean soup with carrots, onions, celery, ham or bacon or as a side dish when the beans are cooked for about an hour.
