Been buying these for 10 years. I eat this with the brown rice everyday, and go through 2 lb of these a week.. Just strain to get any dirt out and good to go. I've occasionally gotten small lentil sized rocks but maybe 10 times over the entire time.

I usually cook these lentils by themselves and enjoy them as is with some chicken or fish. Google and make Carrabba's Sausage Lentil soup. You won't be disappointed. I buy these half a dozen bags at a time and keep them in the pantry as one of my go-to staples!

These lentils have been a go to staple in my pantry for years. Despite what some reviewers say, I've never found sticks, bugs, or debris in the bags. Of course they need to be washed/rinsed/sorted, which is no big deal. They cook well and make great lentil soups and stews.
