This is a great toy for 2-3 y old. My 3,5 y old son plays with this garbage truck all the time. He even rides on it. 2 y old daughter likes it too, so we are going to order one more for her)

Best decision I ever made besides marry my wife! My boy loves it. Well made. My son loves using the dumpster and dumping the trash himself. The sound effects are good and it lights up. The batteries last a long time.
