      My husband wanted this for fishing in Alaska. Last time he went fly fishing for Salmon in Alaska, his line wasn't strong enough. In fact he broke his pole on a big salmon. We purchased this because it says 12 lbs. It says less visible underwater than monofilament. Less absorbent that monofilament...
