Thank you for for the paper shredder by "Fellowes. "It has a feature to stop briefly to protect the machine. This is much better than the previous one I had, which would put more through, but would sit and do nothing for over an hour to get going again. I'm 100% satisfied with my Walmart "Fellowes"

JUST BOUGHT NEW SHREDDER . OLD FELLOWES SHREDDER WAS 21 YEARS OLD & ELECTRICAL CORD WAS WORN HARD TO REPAIR. I LIKE THE NEW ONE AS IT CUTS PAPER(CROSSCUT FEATURE) INTO SMALL PARTS THAT CAN EASILY BE COMPRESSED. SHREDDER IS JUST THE RIGHT SIZE & EASY TO HANDLE !

This shredder is designed for small amounts of paper to shred at any one time.. max time is about 3 to 4 minutes until it shuts off for 40 minutes. Therefore,it is ideal for low volumes of documents to shred and its compact size and price are a definite advantage.

This shredder does a pretty good job for its size. 6 sheets definitely caused some strain. Only challenge was theat it overheated rather quickly, and automatically shut down for a 40 minute cool down. Other than that, worked flawlessly.
