I only use this to top of my tanks due to water evaporation because it is a little more money than a gallon of spring water but seems to work very well!!!

I tried the mix it yourself and water was filmy the next, I only use this Betta Water, along with living Moss keeps the water clear and smells clean with weekly water change. No mess, pour ( I do have a thermometer to verify safe temp) and Happy Betta. On the cost, I am generally at Walmart once...
