Have been fishing with the Berkley Gulp Alive 1" smelt and 1" chartruese since they first came out, Catch Crappie is what they do... I used to spend $$ every time we went fishing on live minnows, now I can catch 10-12 crappie form each Berkley Gulp alive before it is too tore up from too many hit...

I tried these out for the first time, tipped Crappie jigs with the 2.5" pink shine. Suspended them under a fixed float near cover and came up with some slabs. These also seem to work well for finesse situations, when the bite is lite. I also like how I can recharge/re-use them.

All I ever use. Simple and deadly on walleye, white bass, wipers you name it. I even cut small chunks and tip crappie jigs.
