3rd one purchased in my lifetime. Really good life of battery. Might change out just the battery next time. Great thing is that the unit still works as a protected power strip even after the battery has run out.

My power tends to go off a lot. I hate it when it knocks the computer out.. this way I am able to shut the computer down myself.. much safer.. and it gives you time to get a flashlight too..

I've had two units for 5 years. Both batteries have died and unfortunately, the batteries in this. according to CyberPower, are not replaceable, which is why I reduced it by one star. It does still serve as a surge protector, though no warranty at this point.

Work great for my name's for 5 years and finally just took a poop yesterday will be buying a replacement battery for this unit I did enjoy this unit was my best investment for 40 bucks
