My granddaughter's list included "girl Legos" (she has three brothers). There was a very nice assortment of girl Legos at Walmart. I chose this set and she was delighted with it. You can't go wrong with Legos any way, so this is a good choice for her.

A wonderfully engineered toy that my 6 year old was able to assemble in two, 2 hour sittings. I did have to help with one part because the spinning cake display was tricky, but once we figured it out, she was back to work on the rest of the set.
