I just returned from a vacation on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I used my new Cardinal STX Spinning Combo while fishing for blues off the Nags Head Fishing pier and for Sheepshead while fishing from the Oregon Inlet bridge. The combo performed excellent!

Smooth reel. Bought it to replace a Cardinal 753 reel on my 20+ year old setup I was surprised to find was still in my parent's shed (753 reel and similarly aged Abu Garcia rod). Works and feels much better as one might expect.
