I would try a different one (A different fountain) this is just a hassle I've already replaced it with Walmart couple of times I would not recommend this....

THIS WAS A BIRTHDAY GIFT AND AND THE 2ND ONE NOW. THIS HAD NO BATTERY BACK ON IT WHEN IT WAS OPENED AND THE PAINT JOB ON WAS LIGHT BROWN AND BLACK. IM JUST NOT HAPPY THIS THIS AT ALL I WONT BE BUYING ANY MORE AND WILL PASS IT ON HOW MUCH JUNK THIS PRODUCT IS

I read the reviews and saw this issue, but figured for 10$ I would try it. Worked great when i first plugged it in. NOW there is only color, the pump will not turn on no matter what i try! =( Waste of 10$ buy a different one. The fountain is cheaply made, you can feel the bad quality, but looks...

LOVED IT....for the 4 weeks it lasted. After the first 3 weeks, the LED light would only light up red. (Which means the LED was off most of the time as it was cycling thru the other non-working colors) Then the pump died. So all I have is a water fountain with no running water but a fabulous red...
