I pulled the smoke detector down to clean it and test it and it would not turn off. I blew it out but nothing stopped it, not the hush button not blowing off the sensor. I hit it on the counter and it stopped and is trash now and I have ringing in my ears. I would not buy this product ever again!

I bought this product in 2017. It went off and would not stop. It scared my elderly, blind mother and her home health aide. Thankfully, I was able to take an Uber over. It took awhile and I hushed it. It is going in the garbage.

I bought this product one year and a half ago and it randomly goes off for no reason. The battery is sealed and there is nothing we can do. From browsing the web I see this is a common problem... So disappointing for the price!
