My Frigidaire dehumidifier died after 4 years of use. This GE model has so many more features. It is night and day better than the Frigidaire. It actually shuts off when the humidity reaches the set level. The Frigidaire did not.

I'm very pleased with this dehumidifier. I had been awhile without a dehumidifier in my basement until I bought this one. At first I had to empty the tank twice a day. Now it's once a day. The musty smell is gone from the basement.
