When taken at first inclination of getting a sore throat, they work quickly to prevent the sore throat. If my throat is sore, taking these lozenge quickly relieves the sore throat.

zinc ingredient is helpful...I use these when I note that a cold/sore throat is in the making...these can't cost more than a penny each to make...price could be lower
