      Decorate your backyard or porch by using a Firepower Nandina.

      It is a noninvasive nandina used for its red winter foliage.

      This evergreen nadina produces lime green new growth that turns a brilliant deep red as the temperature starts to decline.

      It can be planted as a shrubby groundcover due to its overall size or as a foundation plant.

      When planting this nandina plant, dig the hole twice as wide as the pot and mix rich garden soil in with your native soil.

      You should then leave the top of the root ball a half an inch above the ground level when filling the hole with soil.

      In Spring time, you should use a slow release granular fertilizer.

      i bought these almost a year ago, and they grew nicely through the summer. They're planted in a sunny spot. They have beautiful bright red foliage through the fall and winter (USDA hardiness zone 8a).
