      Big Blue Liriope produces lavender colored flowers from August to September.

      It can be planted in the landscape as a mass groundcover or as an edging plant.

      Big Blue is deer, air pollution, drought, erosion, and rabbit tolerant.

      When planting this grass, dig the hole twice as wide as the pot and mix rich garden soil in with your native soil, then leave the top of the root ball 1/2 inch above the ground level when filling the hole with soil.

      Use a slow release granular fertilizer in Spring.
