Well, I don't really like the portion in Fangorn Forest in this book either. Interesting to note. But omg, I'm so incredibly angry about all of Jackson's choices about Faramir/Shelob's lair in the movies ALL OVER AGAIN.

Even better than I remember! Pippin and Merry find their groove, Treebeard and the Ents rock, a beloved character returns, and Frodo and Samwise continue on their perilous quest with an unwelcome guest as their guide. Just so so good!

I love this audio version narrated by Andy Serkis. Hard to imagine that all the various characters were not in the room with him reading the story.
