Have phone and keys,etc, on belt. Don't want to remove belt to carry gun. Paddle holsters are the answer. I have 3 of these for j, k/l, and n frame s&w's. I am left handed and carry both hip and cross draw. Easy to reposition. Secure with soft lining. Yes, even my 629 mountain gun stays in place....

This is by far the best holster I've ever owned. It's very comfortable, securely holds the weapon, and it stays in place when the weapon is drawn. It's lined to protect the weapon, and it's IDPA legal. I own one of these holsters for each handgun I own. I highly recommend it.
