My first Ron Rash book and it won't be my last! Quite the storyteller, really brings his characters to life - still thinking about some of them. Haunting tale, beautifully written.

Ron Rash is a great writer, but the same story told from 5 different perspectives, just didn't do it for me. After the first one, I started skimming the others. Not Rash's fault, just a method that didn't interest me.
