any time you can buy a computer of this caliber for under$500.00 is amazing. i didn't realize how bad a shape my old one was. had it 3-1/2 yrs. this one is the same brand as my older one. it is really fat and efficient and i would recommend it to anyone.

i have owned previous Acer laptops , and have found this one to be a great value and it has all the features that i require for post-graduate research. I was happy that i could get windows 7 if i ordered online and avoided windows 8 as it is pure garbage.
