If i could give zero stars, I would! This was the only meal the local Wal Mart had, so I bought it. When i opened the bag and poured the meal into the canister, i was shocked to see WEEVILS!!! At least four!!! Needless to say, i dumped the contents into the trash. WON'T BUY EVER AGAIN!!!

Nasty. I had to buy this because they quit selling Alabama Stone Ground at my store. It ruined the taste of my dressing. I made my way to Winn Dixie who still carries Alabama Stone Ground Corn Meal and redeemed my dressing the next day.

Ignore the bad reviews. This cornmeal is plain stoneground fine meal without flour or rising agent so not really for baking cornbread many are used to unless you add the flour and baking powder. This meal works great as a skillet cornbread with just a little salt and water mixed to create batter....
