This kettle works wonderfully. Takes about as long as my mom's Keurig to heat the water, but it boils for a few seconds before shutting off, so the water is piping hot and stays that way for a good bit. It holds way more water than I need for tea, so other people could get big mugs before it need...

I checked out a lot of electric kettles, and I chose this one because the price was right, it holds a lot of water, it boils fast, it has an automatic shut off. I expect it to last a long time even with three times a day use. It is larger than my old kettle, and much better.
