Just what I needed for my variable flow pump. Moves a lot faster than my Pentair did at higher speeds. Moves at slower rpms if I turn the skimmer off, but I prefer to let the skimmer run. Still fine tuning everything, but much better performance with the small throat.

Went from a Hayward Navigator which failed after a year and a half to this and this thing already moves better than that one ever did. Time will tell but very pleased so far.

It works perfectly on our 25x10 fiberglass pool. Doesn't climb vertical walls but doesn't need to to keep the pool clean. I love always coming out to a clean pool, wish I'm™d bought one as soon as the pool was installed. Was easy to set up and use.

STUCK on Steps. My previous vacuum would get stuck in the crevices of the steps preventing it from continuing doing its job getting stuck and going no further. After a month of use, The Hayward 400 has NOT got stuck once. Word to the wise, use the hose couplers to keep your vacuum upright. Lookin...

This automatic pool cleaner is expensive but does a much better job. It spins around in place at times so it can get into corners better. It hasn't clogged yet compared to the pool vac xl which clogged weekly.
