Bought the first one and it took the time of day and 2 program settings correctly, but by the next day had a goofy time of day and both programs I set were cleared out. Returned it, bought another and overnight, AM turned to PM and it lost all the programs. Why is Wal-Mart selling this?

Even with the instructions it was hard to program. I work with electronics all the time but this is difficult. I do like the concept for a timer. Just need friendlier way to use it.
