The second day it was set up with the largest of our four outdoor pool umbrellas, we experienced a thunderstorm which brought down two of the others--but this stand held firm even though the umbrella was fully open. That's just what we were looking for.

The picture does not do this table justice. Great construction, easy to assemble. It is heavy which suits its double function as an umbrella stand. Beautiful details and the color is lovely. I would highly recommend the Hanover Traditions Table/ Umbrella stand.
