I recently purchased this new receiver because my new PS4 Slim doesn't have optical. So I needed a receiver with HDMI inputs. This has 4 HDMI inputs and it really simplifies my entire set up! I couldn't be happier with it.

It sounds great! I set the whole Sony system- a new 40" TV, Surround sound 5.2 A/V receiver, two tower speakers, a sub woofer and a Bluray dvd/cd in just a few minutes! All I need now is some movies and my favorite CDs! -Billmelater and $25.00 to 30.00 a month! A great deal for all to enjoy!

I purchased this reciever to go with a Bose 5 channel surround sound system and a new smart TV along with a smart remote. The system performs wonderfully and it is very crisp.
