Very lightweight! If your home is kept cool like ours, just put something warm on baby underneath so they don't get cold. Overall, I love it and she sleeps well in it. Survives well in washing machine but shrinks a tiny bit. It's so stretchy that it doesn't matter, though.

Our little one loves these because they aren't as constricting as the wrap swaddles. she's able to move her arms without her startle relfex waking her up.

Our newborn sleeps in this better than any other swaddle we have so we went back and bought an extra. The only downside is he can sometimes wiggle his arm out of the top.

All 5 of my babies loved being in these swaddlers. I think it keeps them snug and warm, like they were in mom's tummy, but still enough wiggle room to not be constricting. I love it because it has double zippers and there's no arm sleeves or wrapping layers to try to wrestle baby into. Easy peasy!
