Frederick the Fed seems to be Ranger Pigeon's kryptonite. A good read where I was left guessing not only by the who, but the what. NPS meets Contiki Tour when Anna lived in the dorms. Once again the scenery and the park is as much as character as the humans.

I wasn't as impressed with this Anna Pigeon story as with previous ones. I like the characters, but the story was somewhat slow moving. I loved the setting and the descriptions were luscious, as if you were present. I felt like the end was not satisfying.

It's been a long time since I read this book but I have read the entire series, up until the most current book and I really like it. I love how the series is set outdoors in the different parks.
