These are thick rubber balls, about the size of a softball. They bounce, but you wouldn't want to throw them at your dog as it could cause an injury with how sturdy they are. We have two aggressive chewers and these have held up well, when they find them under the furniture.

My bully loves these! She normally chews through the toughest of toys within minutes but this one is quite sturdy.

My dog loves these. She usually carrys around tennis balls and tears them up. So hope they will last. Seem like they are made well.

These are really great for the dog that can tear anything up. They are very heavy solid rubber with a treat hole. Big 3" balls and well worth the price.
