We bought this set for a newly connected landline phone and although it was odd to hear a good old fashioned phone ring, this set is easy set up and easy to use, so it was easier to get used to it. Better sound quality than cell phone too. The answering machine is a plus!

Had an echo sound in my phone so I replaced it with this one. Echo is gone. The phone is easy to set up, has easy to see keys and takes up less room than my old phone. Just press "menu" to set up voice mail recording and other options. No real need for an instruction booklet.
