My 3 year old received this as a birthday gift and it never worked. You can hear it trying to work, but no bubbles. I have read some other reviews elsewhere and I guess this is a fairly common problem so I would maybe suggest looking for a different bubble machine.

Just as the previous reviews said, it didn't work at all for me. Batteries were brand new as well and it still never turned on.
