Not bitter at all. Very tasty rich flavors. I loved it. It's pricier than others but so worth it. I love saving the jar after use. Favorite with turkey meatballs !!!

I really love the riserva line of sauces. They have so much flavor it's so much closer to homemade without having to spend all day making it. I highly recommend giving these a try. Not only this one but the arrabiata one is amazing also

This is the first time buying this sauce. It tastes great with eggplant & artichoke. I always look for the lowest sodium & most affordable, economic price, but wanted to try it even though it costs more than I usually spend on pasta sauce.
