We like these cedar chips for part of the bedding for out outside dog. It says it helps repel fleas and I believe it does because Freckles loves when we put fresh cedar chips in his house.

We use these shavings in our Guinea pig cages. It's very low dust, and controls odor well. We never have a problem with the pigs kicking the shavings out of the cage. These work just as well as the expensive shredded paper options at a fraction of the cost
