I like the size and style of the side table, but the chestnut color that I ordered is WAY darker than I expected. More like the color of black coffee. Rather than send it back, I'm putting it in a different room and will continue to look for a side table in a lighter color. Disappointed.

You don't have to put this piece together. It comes fully constructed and ready. This is a good piece for a child's room although the draws need some wax in order to pull them out smoothly.
