The seat belt works great. It allows my dog just enough movement and keeps her safely inside the jeep with the top down.

Strong. We recently traveled with our 8 month old lab 20 hours each way with this hooked to his harness. It was great at keeping stable and in the truck every time we opened the door so that we could switch him to his leash.
