This "armored composite" material used to make this lamp is actually plastic. And it looks plastic. Not acceptable for near my front door where people can see and touch it and realize...it's plastic. I'm returning the item.

We like the design and the light produced by the units. However, with both units failing in less than a year and the LED unit not replaceable, I returned these for credit and ordered the bulb version of this design. the Lamps Plus store was very accommodating.

Very disappointing, lightweight design. It felt like plastic but apparently is made from resin. The product description is of a Bronze Outdoor Wall Light, not a molded resin lamp that feels like it should cost $30 not $160!

We really love the lights and the light they put out on our garage. Our only criticism is there is not enough room to put on the mounting balls to fasten the light fixture to the electrical box - this was a poor design.
