This is a cute toy and craft, but I think my 5.5 year old daughter was a bit old for it as she was done fairly quickly. I think it is probably more appropriate for a 3-4 year old. The book is great for a beginning reader. I also think the price point is fair.

My 5 year old daughter enjoyed reading the story and making the crafts afterwards. The crafts themselves are very basic. A foam picture frame and cardboard jewelry box with adhesive stickers and gems. It didn't take long for her to complete the crafts.
